Created as a deeply immersive escape, this contemporary hideaway is crafted to feel quietly off-grid, where architecture and nature blur through expansive glazing, natural materials and calming, earthy tones. Perfect for romantic breaks or solo stays, Lowartha offers a peaceful sanctuary for slow living, reflection and total retreat from the outside world.

    Lowartha’s interiors are thoughtfully arranged across a striking reverse-living layout, designed to elevate guests into the surrounding treetops. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen space is rich in texture and tone, blending timber, stone and copper accents with deep greens and warm neutrals to create a cocooning atmosphere throughout the seasons. A contemporary wood-burning stove anchors the sitting area, paired with plush seating and woodland views framed by floor-to-ceiling windows. The kitchen is sleek yet understated, fully equipped for relaxed dining, with a breakfast bar and an intimate table for two positioned beside the windows. Entertainment is seamlessly integrated with a Smart TV, Sky Q and Bluetooth speakers. Below, the bedroom unfolds as a private retreat, featuring a super-king bed, full-height glazing and a sculptural copper bathtub set against stone walls, creating a spa-like space to unwind. A beautifully finished ensuite with walk-in rainfall shower completes the experience.

    Set within approximately two acres of private woodland garden, Lowartha’s outdoor space feels wonderfully secluded and immersive. A meandering stream, pond and layered planting create a tranquil, almost storybook setting that invites quiet exploration. Directly outside the bedroom, a private patio offers a peaceful spot for morning coffee or evening drinks, while deeper within the garden, a discreetly positioned hot tub is nestled among the trees for secluded soaks beneath the canopy.

    Additional seating, loungers and a barbecue provide ample space for long and elaxed summer days, with birdsong and rustling leaves forming the soundtrack to your stay. As dusk settles, soft light filters through the trees, creating an intimate atmosphere that feels entirely removed from the outside world.
